OVERVIEW

Conversion flying is done to convert your foreign licence to DGCA licence.

The flying hours required will vary depending upon your recency. 

ELIGIBILITY/BASIC REQUIREMENT

  1. Minimum Age:18
  2. Educational Qualification: passed Class Ten plus Two or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics
  3. Medical Fitness: Class 1 Medical Indian/Foreign
  4. Valid RTR(A)/RTR(C)/RTR(P)
  5. Valid FRTOL
  6. Personal Flying Logbook original duly completed
  7. EGCA log book entires approved

EXAMINATION

  1. Air Navigation*
  2. Aviation Meteorology*
  3. Air Regulation
  4. Technical Specific 

*Student can opt for one Composite paper instead of appearing for two separate exams of Air navigation and Aviation meteorology.

*300 nm cross country flight, including 2 landing at two different aerodrome.

SKILL TEST

  1. General flying test by day
  2. General flying test by night
  3. A cross-country flight test by day 250nm
  4. A cross-country flying test by night 120nm
  5. Instrument Rating test

Step 2 : Prepare for Examination

Pass DGCA examination in Air Regulation and Air Navigation Composite . Clear RTR issued by WPC

Step 3: Complete EGCA Entries

Duly filled application form with appropriate fees and supporting documents as per check list to be submitted at DGCA ALSO Apply for FRTOL license

Step 4: Complete Your Flying requirement

complete your flying requirements as per DGCA  guideline.

Step 5: Submit Your Documents To DGCA

Examine your documents and submit to DGCA , once documents validate they will issue and dispatch your license
